BRAKE SYSTEM PLAUSIBILITY DEVICE

Engineered for
Formula Student.

Analog. Non-programmable. Designed for Formula Student combustion and combustion-hybrid vehicles in the European market.

BSPD Systems PCB render

DESIGNED AROUND THE REQUIREMENTS

Built for Formula Student combustion vehicles.

Non-programmable

Standalone analog architecture without firmware or software dependencies.

Dual-signal plausibility

Monitors brake pressure and throttle position as the key input conditions.

Time-dependent logic

Implements the required plausibility persistence and reset behaviour.

Protected inputs

Designed with filtering, hysteresis and input protection for a demanding environment.

Ready to integrate

PCB supplied assembled together with the connector and terminal hardware needed for installation. Current validation has been performed on a combustion vehicle.

VALIDATED ON REAL HARDWARE

Tested, measured,
not just simulated.

Functional testing was performed on the manufactured PCB using controlled sensor-signal pulses and direct output verification.

EUROPEAN FORMULA STUDENT

Developed around Formula Student Germany requirements.

Current validation covers combustion vehicles. Combustion-hybrid vehicles are grouped under the CV class in the FSG 2026 rules; electric vehicles require a different BSPD trigger condition and are therefore not covered by this product version.
